February 23, 2011: Secure Strategy Group hosted a private networking event for former Department of Homeland Security (DHS) senior executives which was held at the SSG Solutions Center in Herndon, VA. Ridge Global, the advisory firm founded by Governor Tom Ridge, first Secretary of the Department of Homeland Security, organized this invitation only event.

March 3, 2011: SSG attended the Annual Capitol Hill DHS Anniversary Reception in Washington, D.C. This invitation only event brought together more than 200 Congressional, DHS, and business leaders - a who's who in homeland security – to discuss homeland security priorities, funding, and programs and identify the most effective homeland security solutions so that the United States can remain safe from terrorism and disasters.

March 4-6, 2011: SSG partners Scott Greiper and Robert Liscouski participated in the Director’s Cup in Aspen, CO. This event brought together leading bankers, dealmakers, fund managers and current and former U.S. Ski Team members for a private networking event. This 30-year old event has attracted the likes of Sam Zell, Will Weinstein, Thomas Weisel, Jean Claude Killy and Billy Kidd. A mandatory Pro-Am ski race is part of the fun.

May 1-5, 2011: SSG partner Robert Liscouski presented at the RIMS (Risk Management Society) 2011 Annual Conference and Exhibition in Vancouver, Canada. His topic was Risk Management. The RIMS 2011 Annual Conference & Exhibition will gather risk professionals from around the world for this weeklong conference.

May 19-20, 2011: SSG partner Robert Liscouski presented a session on Cyber Security at the AICPA (American Institute of CPAs) conference in Boston, MA. The session on Cyber Security was a general session, attended by all conference registrants, which consisted mainly of C-level industry leaders, CFOs, CEOs, CIOs, Presidents/VPs as well as Financial Firms Partners and Managers.
