Scott L. Greiper - President and Founding Partner: Mr. Greiper has had a distinguished 15-year career in the security and defense technology sectors as both a research analyst and investment banker, and is known as a thought leader in the industry. Before forming The Secure Strategy Group, he was a Managing Director at Legend Merchant Group and Head of the firm’s Convergent Security Group, which provided capital, strategic advisory and M&A services to growth companies in the security and defense technology markets. Previously, Mr. Greiper was a Principal and Senior Analyst at C. E. Unterberg, Towbin, where he covered public companies in the Global Security industry and was consistently ranked as one of the top analysts in the sector. He has worked with a range of industry leaders and is a frequent guest speaker and moderator at conferences and seminars across the country. Mr. Greiper attended the Executive MBA program at Columbia University and holds a B. A. in Economics from The University of Chicago. He is a member of the FBI InfraGard program, BENS (Business Executives for National Security), ASIS (American Society for Industrial Security) and NYSSA (New York Society for Security Analysts).
Robert Liscouski - Head of Business Development and Strategy: Mr. Liscouski was the first Assistant Secretary for Infrastructure Protection for the Department of Homeland Security, serving from March 2003 to February 2005, and reporting directly to then Secretary Tom Ridge. He commanded over a $500 million budget and was responsible for coordinating authority over the protection of all sectors of the nation's critical infrastructure, including agriculture, food, water, public health, transportation, and hazardous materials, as well as key assets such as national monuments, nuclear power plants, and dams. His private sector experience includes Director of Information Assurance for The Coca-Cola Company and V.P., Law Enforcement Division, for ORION Scientific Systems. His government experience includes 11 years with the Diplomatic Security Service of the U.S. Department of State and five years criminal investigative experience as a homicide and narcotics investigator in Bergen County, N.J. He is a Senior Fellow at the Center of Strategic and International Studies in Washington, D.C. and is an advisor to the U.S. Government on technology matters. Mr. Liscouski holds a B.S. degree in Criminal Justice from John Jay College of Criminal Justice in New York, and a Masters of Public Administration from the Kennedy School of Government, Harvard University.
Brian J. Noone, Partner: Mr. Noone has had a long and distinguished career in homeland security and law enforcement, in both the commercial and government sectors. Within the commercial sector, Mr. Noone was the Chief Security Officer for National Grid (NYSE: NGG), the second largest utility in the U.S. and one of the largest in the U.K., where he oversaw infrastructure protection and network security for over $55 billion of utility and LNG (Liquid Natural Gas) assets. Within the government sector, Mr. Noone has had over 28 years of law enforcement experience with the U.S. Department of Justice, specializing in covert and overt international and domestic criminal investigations, intelligence probes and clandestine business operations. He is also an industry representative and author/contributor to the Department of Homeland Security’s policies for critical infrastructure protection in the energy industry.
